Tristans 2nd football game of the year.
His first touchdown, he was so fast he ran right out of the frame, but he had a great touchdown run from a reversal, finishing it of with a nice front flip into the end zone (coach didn't appreciate it much but that is the Tristan we all know & love!!
Tristan on a wake board we borrowed from Aunt Tab but I guess it will have to go back, they only tried it once and wouldn't do it again.

all three kids in their horses for our last big trail ride of the year!!Okay, so after being inspired by my sister I have decided to try my own blog to help keep family and friends posted on our craziness that we like to call a family. To give everybody a quick update on where we are right now it is the last official day of summer (where did it all go!?!?) and school just started a few weeks ago so that means back to work for me. Thorin is in 7th grade, Tristan in 5th and Turrell in 3rd. That means Turrell is the only one left in Elementery (talk about feeling old!!)but at least I have all my old preschool kids to visit when I'm missing the good old days of kindergarten. Yep, you got it, I am currently teaching preschool, starting my 3rd year, (I new that degree in wildlife biology would come in handy:) but I love it.
Along with the starting of school comes the beginning of football. All three boys are playing this year and of course they are all on separate teams. Thorin plays for the Middle school and has his first game on Tuesday. Tristan plays tackle for the Park & Rec and Turrell plays Flag. This means Toby and I get to honk and wave at each other as we pass by in the evenings, him with the younger ones on their way to practice and me with Thorin on our way home from work and practice. We usually all get together for dinner around 7:30pm which makes the 5am alarm a little difficult to tolerate but we are managing, besides, it won't last forever right? (just the next 10YEARS!!)
Anyway, I am going to try to post some current pics but we all know I'm not very good at this computer stuff.
